To celebrate Valentine’s Day, I collaborated alongside our social media manager to create a set of valentine gifs that could be used with the coordinating background. I created four different valentine’s day related food puns that use the 3D feature in Adobe Illustrator to create the background of the instagram story post template. In the social post, it directed students to use the coordinating gifs that I designed to create their own Valentine social post on their instagram story.
For this social post, it displays the four different options for a valentine post that uses a background with the pun and a giphy sticker with an illustration that coordinates with the pun. In the space where the white splotch is on the background graphic is where the giphy sticker would be placed as shown above. These giphy stickers were available to use in the SUNY Geneseo giphy library that can be accessed on the instagram app.
